Marketing Manager

SIMPACE Viet Nam, an IELTS- approved partner of the British Council in Vietnam, was formerly the first intensive English training institution in Viet Nam from the number 1 English language institute in the Philippines. We are hiring for our footprint in Hanoi and surroundings:

MARKETING MANAGER

I. JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Plan and Budget Control

       - Plan & control annual budgets for the Marketing department

  •   Advertising

       - Event coordination and management to build up the company imagery
       - Create and execute marketing campaigns across various channels such as email, social media, display advertising, and content marketing

  •  Display and distribution

       - Be in charge of logistics for mass distribution 
       - Prepare materials for mass distribution by post 
       - Mass Email out to email addresses in database as plan   
       - Fax materials to recipients each month as plan
       - Manage email database and update email addresses regularly
       - Display merchandise materials in-house [SIMPace building] and external areas [school, university and other related projects...]
      - Develop and implement ecommerce marketing strategies that align with business goals and objectives
      - Identify and target key customer segments and develop targeted marketing campaigns

  • Management report

       - Collect and report weekly business intelligence, along with suggested action plan if relevant
       - Prepare and present quarterly business reviews, updates, and challenges Master plan; quarter plan, …
       - Bi-weekly/ Monthly marketing report
       - Monthly Performance monitoring report by campaign

  • Competitive information

       - Monitor and keep in file press issues of SIMPace and competitors
       - Coordinate with SAL to update other competitive activities, info. on monthly basic. 
       - Coordinate with SAL to process Market Research at least 2 times per year include surveys, interviews, focus groups, and customer observation.

  • Activities & Events

       - Create and execute marketing campaigns across various channels such as email, social media, display advertising, and content marketing.
       - Assist CMO/BOD in organizing & follow up internal/external events.
       - Cooperate with related departments to prepare for events.
       - Implement event plan and monitoring events.
       - Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in ecommerce and digital marketing.
       - Lead end to end all campaign events to support sales and marketing activities.

  • External relation [Schools & Universities]

       - Prepare school visit schedule and agenda
       - Organize activities on special occasions
       - Plan, implement and monitor activities programs at schools, universities.
       - Manage and mentor a team of marketing executives and coordinate with external agencies and vendors as needed 

  • Others

       - Assist ADM in filling, stationery order and reports 
       - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and execute new and innovative ideas to enhance the customer experience on ecommerce platforms
       - Determine and prioritize strategy and resources to achieve business KPIs including customer, sales and affiliates growth.

II. Requirements

1. Qualifications

  • University graduated in Business Administration or Economics.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in marketing/PR/sales areas in a foreign company.
  • Experience in education is a plus.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team

2. Skills    

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Customer oriented 
  • Teamwork
  • In-depth knowledge of ecommerce platforms and digital marketing channels, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and display advertising
  • Proven experience in creating and executing successful ecommerce marketing campaigns that drive business results
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop new and innovative marketing ideas that align with brand objectives
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw insights to inform marketing decisions
  • Project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and work within budgets
  • Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and technologies
